The Dreamy Draw Recreation Area is part of the Phoenix Mountain Preserve and boasts some of the best hiking and mountain biking trails in the metro area as well as some of the best views of Paradise Valley and downtown Phoenix. There are ramadas available as well as toilets and cold drinking water adjacent to the parking area. However, there are no water stations along the trails. There is also a nice wide concrete cycling/walking path which begins at the park's entrance and runs about 2 miles northeast to 26th Street. The park is often very busy from November - April and the main parking area is often full during this time of year. However, during the middle of summer there are usually only a handful of cars in the parking area, especially in the afternoon hours.
